Boutwells Claim Two at Sugar Hill Speedway
Weare, NH – This past Sunday there was a double celebration in
victory lane for the Boutwell family. Ashley Boutwell returned to
the winner’s circle in the Tiger Sprint ‘C’ division. Jake
Fitzgerald turned the fast lap of the feature race, but came up just
shy in second place. Mitchell Hoar rounded out the top three in his
first appearance at Sugar Hill in 2008. Ashley’s brother, Dylan,
made it two-for-two on the day for the Boutwell family when he
captured the win in the Tiger Sprint ‘B’ division.
There are a number of drivers that continued
their win streaks on Saturday. Austin Brehio won for the second week
in a row in the Jr. Sportsman Champ division. Brittney Burrant
captured another win in the Eurasian Autoworks Jr. Champ division.
Nicoal Perreault turned in her best finish and lap time of the year
finishing second in the class.

ENGINE & TIRE RULE REMINDER FOR 2009
In the 2008 rulebook, it states that all divisions will go to a
Briggs Animal and the Burris Tire in 2009. This decision stands and
will not be changed. These rules will not be integrated in 2008.
Animal engines will not be allowed in Flathead divisions during this
season, except where noted in the 2008 rulebook. |
